Titanium fasteners for bike, motorcycle and racing

Titanium fasteners give you roughly the strength of steel at a little over half the weight, and they do not corrode in salt water or most acids. We supply standard-dimension hardware, pipe fittings and made-to-print special fasteners.

A fastener is the smallest part of an assembly and often the one that decides whether it holds. Get the thread, head or material wrong and the best frame or housing in the world comes loose. This range exists to take that risk off the table: standard parts in standard sizes, made in titanium and checked before they leave the shop.

One range, built around metric standards

Most of what we make follows a published standard, and most of it is metric. If you're looking for titanium fasteners metric sizes are where we start: M3 to M24 as the regular range, with larger diameters on request. Imperial threads are available too when a drawing calls for them.

We work to the standards our customers already use:

  • European and international: DIN, ISO, UNI, NF
  • American: ANSI, ASME, ASTM, IFI, SAE
  • Asian: JIS, GB, QJ

Head styles cover what a typical build needs: hex, socket cap, countersunk, button and flanged. Alongside the threaded parts we also make washers, elbows, flanges and other fittings to the same standards. That means one order can cover a complete joint, not just one piece of it.

Choosing the alloy before the size

Titanium alloy fasteners aren't all the same metal. The grade decides strength, how easily the part machines, and how it behaves in harsh chemicals. We supply GR1 to GR23, plus Ti-6242 and Ti-6246 for higher-temperature work.

A simple way to narrow it down:

  • Commercially pure grades suit low-load joints where corrosion is the main enemy, such as marine fittings or chemical plant.
  • Alloyed grades carry the high loads found in moving parts, brakes and suspension.
  • Palladium-stabilised grades handle acids and chlorides that would attack other metals.

Not sure which one you need? Tell us what the joint does, what it touches and how hot it gets. That's usually enough for our engineers to recommend a grade.

Where these fasteners end up

The same thread pitch can do very different jobs depending on where it's fitted. Here's how the range splits by use.

Bicycles

Weight is the whole argument on a bike. Titanium fasteners for bicycles replace steel on stems, seat clamps, bottle cages, disc rotors and chainrings, and the saving adds up across a full build. Riders also like that titanium bike fasteners don't rust after a wet winter. Anodised colours let you match a frame or mark torque values at a glance.

Motorcycles

Vibration and heat are the tests here. Most of the titanium fasteners motorcycle owners ask for go on fairings, brake parts, engine covers and footpegs. These are spots where corrosion makes steel seize and where a lighter part makes a difference you can feel.

Racing

On the track every gram is counted. The titanium fasteners racing teams order most are the ones that come off and on every weekend. Think wheels, brakes and bodywork. They need threads that survive repeated torque cycles, and that's exactly what titanium does well.

Industry and marine

Not everything we make goes on wheels. Pumps, heat exchangers, offshore fittings and medical equipment all use the same range. In those settings corrosion resistance matters more than weight.

Colour as a working tool

Anodising changes the colour of titanium without adding a coating that can chip or peel. We offer the full colour range. Some customers choose colour purely for looks. Others use it as a code: one colour per length, per torque class or per assembly. It saves time on the bench and stops parts from getting mixed up.

Before you order: a short checklist

Have these details ready and your quote will come back faster:

  1. Standard or drawing. A DIN or ISO number, or your own drawing.
  2. Thread and length. Metric size, pitch and the exact length under the head.
  3. Grade. Or a description of the load and environment, if you'd like advice.
  4. Finish. Natural, polished or an anodised colour.
  5. Quantity. Per size, plus any planned repeat orders.

How to choose between titanium fasteners suppliers

Plenty of titanium fasteners suppliers look alike online, so ask direct questions. Do they machine the parts themselves, or buy them in? Can they show a certificate for each batch? Will they quote to your drawing, or only from a catalogue?

As a titanium fasteners manufacturer, we answer yes to all three. Our plant in Baoji makes the parts on its own CNC lines and inspects every batch, and each delivery comes with its own material certificate.

Buying titanium fasteners China-made also brings a practical advantage. Baoji is the country's main titanium centre, so bar stock, forging and finishing are all close by. That keeps lead times short and prices steady. You also deal with one company from the first enquiry to delivery, not a chain of middlemen.

Send us your list of sizes and standards, and you'll get a quote with pricing and delivery dates.
